Spokane is a very strong market, 10.4% appreciation in 2007 and an anticipated 4-5% appreciation in 2008 we are one of the top 10 markets in the United States. In recent months our strength has been challenged with tightened credit markets, bank failures and rising foreclosures. There has been slight downward pressure on prices (due to increased inventories), but overall our market has stabilized over the last 4 months with an average of 600-700 closed units (residential single family) per month.
